Tipe ekosistem lokasi penangkapan ikan sepatung (Pristolepis grootii)

 Abstrak

Ikan sepatung (Pristolepis grootii), salah satu jenis ikan asli Indonesia. Masyarakat umumnya memanfaatkan ikan ini sebagai ikan konsumsi. Ikan ini berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai komoditi akuakultur. Selain memiliki harga jual yang tinggi, ikan ini juga berpeluang dijadikan ikan hias. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui tipe habitat ditemukan ikan sepatung di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan manuskrip ini adalah dengan penelusuran berbagai sumber informasi yang dapat diakses secara online. Data dan informasi yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran, tipe ekosistem ikan sepatung adalah perairan tawar sungai, rawa dan danau.

Water quality of fishing location of sepatung fish (Pristolepis grootii) at kelekar river, ogan ilir regency of south sumatera

 Abstract

This study aims to determine the parameters of water quality at the fishing locations of the sepatung fish (Pristolepis grootii). Water quality is very influenced by environmental conditions. Kelekar River is one of the rivers located in the area of the flooded swamp area. The water quality characteristics of this river are very influenced by the condition of the surrounding swamps. Based on water acidity (pH) parameters, the quality of river water tends to be acidic, but the sepatung fish (P grootii) can live, grow and develop in this habitat. Water quality in natural waters habitats h can be used as a reference in the maintenance of fish in aquaculture media.

Ringkasan:

The diversity of flora and fauna species in Indonesia is very high, including the diversity of fish species. Indonesian waters include fresh, brackish and sea. Indonesian freshwater has a high diversity of fish species. One group of fish inhabiting Indonesian freshwater is Genus of Pristolepis. Species that have been identified from this genus consist of eight species, namely Pristolepis grootii, Pristolepis fasciata, Pristolepis malabarica, Pristolepis marginata, Pristolepis pentacantha, Pristolepis pauciradiatus, Pristolepis procerus, Pristolepis rubripinnis. Of the eight species found in Indonesia there are two species, namely Pristolepis grootii and Pristolepis fasciata. The habitat and distribution of the two species are the rivers, oxbow lakes, estuarines, swamp and floodplain on the islands of Sumatra and Kalimantan.Pustaka:
